This Day In Rock - January 7th ON THIS DAY: 1962 "The Twist" by Chubby Checker returns to Number One, the only rock song to do so by the same artist. 1978 "Sentimental Lady" by former Fleetwood Mac singer-guitarist Bob Welch peaks at Number Eight on the pop chart, where it stays for two weeks. 1978 Foot Loose & Fancy Free by Rod Stewart peaks at Number Two on the album chart, where it stays for six weeks. 2006 Jackson Browne, Grateful Dead drummer Mickey Hart, and the Neville Brothers play a benefit concert saluting the late concert promoter Bill Graham at The Fillmore in San Francisco, which was Graham's home base for many years.
