- On February 15th, Elvis Costello received his first royal honor. Costello was awarded the prestigious O.B.E — Most Excellent Order of the British Empire medal — for his services to music, by Prince Charles at Buckingham Palace. Costello, who called the honor a "curious and gracious" experience, spoke to the press afterward about how his father, Ross MacManus, an entertainer, had sung at the Palace 50 years ago: "I know my dad would've loved the idea of one of the family coming through the front door." - American Utopia, the hit musical by former Talking Heads leader David Byrne, is headed back to Broadway for a 17-week run. The show is set to ramp back up on at New York's Hudson Theatre starting on September 18th and running through January 17th, 2021. A Spike Lee-directed big screen version is currently in production. - Out now on DVD and Blu-ray is Lynyrd Skynyrd's new concert film, Lynyrd Skynyrd: Last Of The Street Survivors Farewell Tour. The film features the band's 2018 hometown stadium performance at TIAA Bank Field — home of the Jacksonville Jaguars — in Jacksonville, Florida, as well as "an intimate interview with the band about their experiences on tour and what performing together has meant to them."

- Billy Joel has just added an August 3rd concert to his ongoing Madison Square Garden monthly residency. The show marks the "Piano Man's" 79th show of his now-sixth year of MSG dates. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, February 21st. (Press release)
- Get Up, Stand Up! The Bob Marley Story, a new musical based on the life and music of Bob Marley, is set to open at the Lyric Theatre in London's West End on February 6th, 2021. - Yes guitarist Steve Howe has announced a new solo album and memoir. The new collection, titled Love Is, will be released on April 17th, and features current Yes lead singer Jon Davison, along with Howe's son, drummer Dylan Howe.
