"Tuesday night I was at Irving Plaza (Fillmore) in NYC, to see Joe Perry's solo show with his band. For Perry's encore, out came Steven Tyler, dressed in an unbuttoned purple plaid shirt. Looked great. Said he was NOT quitting Aerosmith, said some nice words about Joe, and sang a great version of 'Walk This Way" with Joe and Joe's band. Tyler left the stage, and Joe closed with a blues tune. Club was only half to 3/4-full. Joe also did a reggae version of "Dream On," which he joked was a request from a cruise line that wanted him to play." -- Katherine Turman (NWAC Producer)
